Here’s a set of frameless birch cabinets we installed in a workout room today. These cabinets will add additional storage, TV, speakers etc.
We decreased the size of the room by 12” from the depth. So our cabinet footprint of 12 inches deep by 14ft in length added 95square feet of storage! Enough for all kinds of workout gear and also a tv behind a enormous and heavy bifold door system! Birch ply, finished in clear. Frameless 32mm cabinet style.
My installations are a 2 part process.
Cabinet boxes are set first.
This allows the remodel process to progress without holding up the additional subcontractors we work with, like trim carpenters and countertop installers. They can continue to work so were not holding up the job. The job rolls on, keeping everyone happy.
Doors and drawers are installed toward the end of a project.
This additional step is to insure the cabinet components are not accidentally damaged by other subs during the construction process. It is an additional day of install time for us, but it is actually less work in the long run.
